Difference Between Child Internet Monitoring And Employee Monitoring Software

There are two main types of internet monitoring software available. Each one provides a set of internet monitoring tools working together to protect you from different types of computer threats.

The first type of program is PC monitoring software designed for online child safety ? which will protect your child from the dangers and hazards of the internet. Are you sure that your child is surfing safely on the internet and doing their homework rather than accessing inappropriate adult sites? BBC news reported in 2007 that children in Britain as young as eight were found to have performed indecent acts after visiting pornographic websites. This could have been avoided by using internet monitoring software which blocks access to all adult sites. Internet chat rooms being stalked by pedophiles are traps for innocent children. When British judge Lord Reed jailed a man for ten years for serious sexual assaults on two girls, he warned parents that chat rooms are targeted by older men who are ?predatory and manipulative?. Monitoring your child?s chat room and email activity is easy if you use keylogger software. A family keylogger records all keystrokes made on a computer ? so you can see every message sent and every password used by your child.

Internet monitoring software used in the workplace is designed to protect you from being exploited by your own workforce. It will protect employers from ?cyber slackers? ? workers who spend hours sending personal e-mail messages and surfing the internet ? who cost Britain's small businesses almost ?1.5 billion per year. Research has shown that businesses can lose 15% of their profits to computer abuse. But if you employ PC monitoring software with encryption and security tools you can eliminate the problem. You can prevent employees from accessing websites which you choose to block; catch those who download music and video files in work time; check if they are using unauthorized programs like games programs. A perfect keylogging software will show you every keystroke they make and reveal every email message they send. Network monitoring software can keep surveillance on up to 100 computers at once ? and the users will never know because the program remains invisible to them and solely in your control.

Here at Spysure we have developed cutting edge keylogger and internet monitoring software products to fit all your needs ? from an easy-to-use internet monitoring software and family keylogger package for the home to the most sophisticated Network monitoring software for the office. Spysure?s Home Version; Office Version and Network Version will give you the ultimate in computer control and peace of mind.

Retail Intelligence: Improving Sales Through Cctv Systems

If you think security is the primary reason stores put up CCTV systems, think again. They are not there to watch shoplifters; they are there to count people.

Security Versus Sales
The British bed store, Dreams, had CCTV systems installed for two reasons: the first, marketing; the second, security.

Dreams' use video surveillance shows a strong trend surfacing in the market in recent years. Stores put up CCTV systems not so much to prevent losses, but to increase sales. This is a logical move. While shoplifters and negligent employees cause stores to lose money, these losses are minimal compared to loss of potential earnings.

Monitoring Foot Traffic
Foot traffic is important to business owners and managers, and this is where CCTV systems come in. Cameras map store traffic. They show patterns of movement from department to department, from floor to floor. They show, for example, where customers are most likely to pass to get to Department X after exiting Department Z.

In malls, areas with the heaviest foot traffic are the costliest to rent. In stores, the same areas are where latest or the most steeply-priced products are displayed. Dreams knew this, and thus had CCTV systems mounted.

Why Count People?
Stores count visitors to monitor sales. A decline in foot traffic could only mean one thing: reduced sales. After all, with fewer people entering stores, fewer purchases would be made. CCTV systems, used together with need-specific software, are able to alert owners and managers to decreases in visitor density. These people could, in turn, take corrective action.

Uses of CCTV Systems in Marketing
1. Pinpointing desirable location
Cameras can show which areas draw the most visits from people. Decision-makers can use this data to evaluate the impact of decoration themes or adjust rent in relation to traffic value.

2. Revealing the hold factor
The "hold" factor is the ability of any merchandise or store area to make customers stay. CCTV systems can provide answers to questions like:
a) How long do customers stay inside one section of the store?
b) Which area or item do they take the most time to look at?

3. Optimizing promotional spending
CCTV systems help store owners and managers identify areas where advertisements would have the most impact. Marketing teams can then use this information to plan store layout and promotional strategies.

4. Evaluating stock levels
CCTV systems can, at a glance, reveal empty shelves or fast-thinning supplies. This is particularly useful in stores so huge it will take weeks to conduct a complete inventory of items sold and unsold.

5. Improving customer service
Data captured by CCTV systems tell key personnel how many customers flock to the store during certain times of the day. This data is very useful in designating how many employees to assign and where. Frequently, long lines at cash registers frustrate shoppers and cause them to do their buying elsewhere. Identifying prime selling hours and areas will help stores keep their valued clients.

Each shopper that walks through the door represents potential profit. With the right CCTV systems and software, store owners and managers can convert more and more profit potential into actual sale. What businessman could say no to that?

Synchronised Digital Clock Systems

This article discusses the methods utilised to achieve synchronised digital clock time displays throughout an organisation. Focusing particularly on Ethernet Networked NTP Digital Wall Clock Systems utilising Power-over-Ethernet.

Synchronised digital clocks allow a number of individual time clock displays to show identical accurate time. Individual stand-alone digital clocks each drift at different rates eventually all display differing times. This article discusses the methods utilised to achieve synchronised digital clock time displays throughout an organisation.

Radio-Controlled Digital Clock

Many digital clocks are available with radio receivers that synchronise to radio time broadcasts that are freely available in many areas. Time and frequency broadcasts such as the DCF-77 broadcast from Germany, the MSF-60 broadcast from the UK and the WWVB broadcast from the US. These time and frequency broadcasts provide an accurate timing reference for digital clocks to synchronise. However, often installation problems are encountered due to the fact that in particular locations the radio signal quality may be very low or even non-existent. Mounting radio-controlled digital clocks in basements or inside metal structures or too close to electrically noisy equipment can all cause radio reception difficulties. Also, radio transmissions are local to the transmitter and do not extend beyond a finite range.

Wired Digital Clock Systems

Many synchronised digital clock systems operate on a bespoke serial network. They utilise a multi-drop RS422 or RS485 wired serial network. Each clock is generally mains powered at the point of installation. The digital clocks synchronise to a master clock on the wired network that may be synchronised to a GPS or radio external time reference. Only an optimally located single external timing receiver is required to synchronise all the clocks. The advantage of such systems is that the equipment costs are fairly low. However, this can often be outweighed by the installation costs of a dedicated network for the clock system.

Ethernet NTP Digital Clock Systems

Ethernet NTP digital wall clock time displays utilise NTP over Ethernet to display a continuously accurate synchronised time. The digital clocks connect directly to an Ethernet network and periodically synchronise using SNTP to a NTP Time Server.

Ethernet NTP digital clock time displays are available with four-inch high numerals with four or six digits. The large time display makes the clocks easily visible from a distance of up to 150 feet. The large wall clock obtains time from an intranet or Internet based NTP server, to provide an accurate time display, synchronised to one-fifth of a second. Ethernet NTP digital wall clocks operate with any NTP or SNTP time resource such as a dedicated NTP Time Server. Additionally, the units can utilise Internet based time sources, such as NIST.

For simplicity of operation, synchronised digital clocks are Power-over-Ethernet (PoE) devices (IEEE 802.af) using the same network components as IP telephones. The large digital wall clocks plug into an Ethernet jack on a local area network. No mains socket is required; the device is powered from the network jack plug. Installation is therefore very straightforward, and it's easy to move units around.

A synchronised Ethernet NTP digital clock system has a number of advantages. Firstly, installation costs are reduced due to the use ?common' network components, such as CAT5 and Ethernet hubs and switches. In many cases the network infrastructure may already be present. Additionally, no mains spur is required at the clock location, reducing installation costs. The clocks can also reference multiple time sources in the event of failure of a time reference.

The devices are powered over standard CAT5 cabling using Power-over-Ethernet (IEEE 802.af), the same Ethernet standard as Voice-over-IP telephones. If your network is not PoE enabled, single or multi-port mid-span converters (power injectors) are available at very reasonable cost.

Ethernet NTP Digital Clock Configuration

Networked digital clocks can easily be configured from any PC on the same network segment as the clocks. Configuration simply consists of opening a telnet session to a specified clock and entering password information. Once a connection is established there are a number of configuration commands available to the administrator. All digital clocks can therefore be configured from a single point.

Time Zone Configuration

NTP Ethernet digital clocks can be configured to the display local time in any time zone. There are a number of pre-configured common time zones that can easily be selected. AlternativelyScience Articles, any time zone and daylight saving configuration can be specified by supplying offsets and daylight saving start and end times.

Chrysler Crossfire - Brakes and Brake Assist System

The power-assisted braking system provided in the Chrysler Crossfire is befitting to the performance level of the Chrysler. Undoubtedly, brakes and brake assistant system are important factor of a racing car like Crossfire. The brakes and brake assist system in the Chrysler Crossfire is appropriate for a racing car and also has set yardstick for others in the motor industry.

Following are some of the salient features of brake assist system used in the Chrysler Crossfire. The brake system of the crossfire has large diameter ventilated front discs and solid rear discs. The system is backed up by the highly sophisticated electronic wizards of Brake Assist System and ANS anti-lock.

The front brakes of crossfire have ventilated discs of 300 X 28 mm measure with single piston floating calipers. The rear brake discs of crossfire measures 278 X 9mm. These rear discs have opposed-piston calipers. When any set of front pads becomes worn the wear sensors fitted in the system illuminate dashboard warning light. The power assistance is provided through tandem master cylinder and single=diaphragm vacuum booster.

The Chrysler Crossfire has state of the art ABS consisting of four-channel, four wheel anti-lock of standard quality. This brake system is considered most suiting for the crossfire.

When a driver applies heavy brakes, specifically on slippery surface, the system gets activated and applies and releases the brakes at high rate. The optimum brake applies and release rate is 30 times per second. Despite the higher rate of brake applying and release the system prevents wheel lock up and helps the driver in retaining steering control.

The Brake Assist System fitted in the Chrysler Crossfire anticipates the emergency application of brake by the driver and immediately releases optimum available power boost to help the driver gain control over the car without loosing steering control. The driver may have usual human tendency of not braking hard or not breaking soon enough. The Brake Assist System overcomes these problems.

Like other features of the Chrysler Crossfire, its brakes and brake assist system is reliable. The system is of high standard quality technology and produces excellent performance even in adverse conditions.

Network Marketing--It's Three Deadly Sins And How To Find Salvation From Them Through A Funded Sponsoring Franchise System

Summary:

An unfortunate fact about network marketing is that approximately 95% of people who get involved in it never achieve significant success. This article summarizes the three main reasons for this and also introduces a new network marketing paradigm that can lead to a much higher degree of success and satisfaction.

If you're a network marketer, there's a 95% probability that you've not yet achieved success in this industry. If, on the other hand, you're currently seeking a network marketing business opportunity, this is statistical fact that is important for you to recognize. Even worse is the dismal fact that this is the approximate percentage of network marketers who will NEVER achieve success in this industry--UNLESS they become aware of what I will refer to here as its three "deadly sins" and find an effective way to avoid them.

The purpose of this article is to help you to become aware of these pervasive pitfalls, how they lead most networkers inevitably to what I refer to, sardonically, as Network Marketing "hell," and--most important of all--to present an alternative approach that can quickly lead to salvation in what I think quite fittingly can be called a "Network Marketing Paradise."

Unfortunately, nearly all network marketers are actively seduced into committing these "deadly sins" for the simple reason that--until very recently--they have provided the ONLY means for achieving success in the network marketing industry. All of them are based on the nearly universal and common-sensical premise in this industry that the ONLY way to succeed is to invest one's personal and financial resources directly, immediately, and one-pointedly into promoting and building one's primary business. As self-validating as this seems, the evidence is now overwhelming that this approach simply doesn't work well for the vast majority of people who enter this industry.

The good news is that there is now a highly effective alternative way to "salvation" for at least a large percentage of those who have fallen into the morass of failure and disillusionment to which this prevailing approach often and unfortunately leads.

The Three Deadly Sins of Network Marketing

The term, "sin," as used here has no moral implications of any kind; rather, it is used in its original sense as translated from the Greek word, hamartia, meaning "to miss the mark" or "to miss the target." Given this amoral definition, here's a list of the three "deadly sins" of traditional network marketing:

1. Spending vast amounts of money, time, and energy in promoting one's business and/or products to prospects who are highly unqualfied. Typically, this starts with one's "warm market"--i.e., one's immediate circle of family and friends. Not uncommonly, in enthusiastically and aggressively trying to recruit these folks, neophyte network marketers often meet with much negativity and create considerable alienation. Not surprisingly, this is a common early source of major disappointment and disillusionment.

2. Spending even greater amounts of money, time, and energy in promoting one's business to the "cold market," either on a face-to-face basis or through calling leads. In working with this market, as is commonly stated in the industry, "it's in the numbers." This means that for every qualified prospect successfully recruited, it's usually necessary to give presentations to large numbers of people who prove NOT to be qualified. So the return on investment here can be--and often is--horrifically low. Also, it requires a tremendous degree of commitment, persistence, and willingness to endure the frustration inherent in this process. Not surprisingly, then, the large majority of people new to the business will run out of money and/or personal endurance before they achieve a signficant degree of success.

3. Failure among those recruited to one's business team to duplicate successfully the method(s) used to recruit them. Since duplication is the sine qua non of ALL network marketing, this is a huge, and often, fatal problem. Although most network marketing companies tout a simple and easy-to-duplicate business plan, only a very small minority of new recruits are actually successful in implementing this duplication. The main reasons for this are as listed above.

A Pathway to Salvation--The Funded Proposal Franchising System

Fortunately, thanks to the rapid evolution of highly sophisticated and effective new forms of internet marketing, an effective means to "salvation" from all of these common failings is now readily available to anyone with internet access and the willingness to learn how to use them. Basically, internet technology has opened the way for a brand new paradigm of network marketing to emerge that not only avoids all of the problems of the traditional approach, but has a number of additional advantages to boot.

One highly effective variant of this new paradigm is called a Funded Proposal Franchising System. One of its unique features is that it utilizes a system of carefully chosen affiliate programs synergistically designed to generate income very quickly. This income is then dedicated, in part, to promoting one's primary network marketing business entirely through internet advertising.

Since this business building system is completely internet-based, it completely eliminates all forms of personal promotion and recruitment. This, in turn, eliminates all of the wasted time and effort that is entailed in the traditional model in trying to recruit large numbers of highly unqualified prospects. In this new paradigm, the business builder works ONLY with people who have established a high degree of qualification and motivation by actually enrolling in his/her business-building system.

One of the main effects of this marked difference is that the business builder's main role is transformed from being that of a personal promoter/recruiter/salesperson into a role that is much more satisfying for most people--namely that of being a supportive mentor/guide who also provides customer service.

An added major advantage of this new approach is that it not only has great appeal to prospective business opportunity seekers--once they understand it--but also to the vast numbers of traditional network marketers who have been floundering in "network marketing hell," as it has been described here.

As someone who has spent a lot of time in this hellish predicament, I can testify that discovering and applying this new paradigm has been, for me, truly like finding the gateway to a paradise.

So whether you are somebody seeking salvation from the "deadly sins" of network marketing, or a business opportunity seeker simply wanting to avoid the high probability of failure that they entail, I highly recommend that you investigate carefully this very attractive new alternative.

You can learn more about it by visiting the author's blog listed below.

Disaster recovery services through a Hosted PBX System

A virtual or hosted PBX system is usually projected as a cost effective solution to the ever expanding communication needs of a company. This system provides all the facilities that one can find in a conventional system, at a far lower cost. Apart from the cost effectiveness and rich features, a hosted PBX system can be utilized for disaster recovery services.

During natural disasters, a company that has implemented a premise based PBX system can suffer dire consequences owing to the destruction. Recovery is only possible if the telephone connections are restored. In such a case a hosted PBX service comes in handy. A hosted PBX system utilizes both the public telephone network and the Internet for delivering its service. Hence, any disruption in the telephone network does not have any severe effect in the working of the PBX system. The calls being managed by the service provider can be diverted via the Internet. Since all the telephone numbers and extensions are managed by the service provider, the clients can avail of their services irrespective of their geographic location. A company which has been affected by a natural disaster can therefore recover quickly by establishing its communication point at the nearest site where any telephone system or Internet connection is available.

Apart from being able to recover quickly, another benefit of a hosted system is the facility of maintaining the same old numbers. In a hosted PBX system, the extension numbers are provided and maintained by the service provider. Hence, a company that restores its communication hub through a new point of contact can get the same old numbers. This consistency in maintaining numbers helps a company in giving better service to its customers. The company need not announce a new customer care number in case a communication hub is established.
